Texans QB Matt Schaub AFC Offensive Player Of The Week

    Quarterback Matt Schaub has been voted as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 34-31 victory at Tennessee. Schaub completed 25-of-39 for 357 yards and a career-best four touchdowns. Schaub threw touchdown passes to Andre Johnson (19 and 72 yards), Jacoby Jones (29) and Owen Daniels (1).

    i was thinking the same thing 86ward. i'm sure c.j. was a strong 2nd place. the league really needs football to succeed in Houston though, it's 2nd biggest market, so they are going to promote the team whenever they can.

    CJ was awfully dominant but I think the NFL may have realized how awful our defense is. It's not really a big deal to tear up the Texans' D right now....
