The city of Walnut has approved a legal settlement in exchange for dropping objections to a proposed NFL stadium development in a neighboring Southern California city. City Council members voted 3-1 to approve the settlement during a closed session Tuesday night. Councilman Joaquin Lim says he voted no but he and the council are bound by a confidentiality agreement not to disclose details of the settlement until the parties release a joint statement on Thursday.
