Adam Schefter of ESPN believes that the Chiefs would gladly listen to offers for receiver Dwayne Bowe. In a chat with readers, Schefter wrote: "... If a team out there made a good offer for Bowe, he would be gone tomorrow. Like I said, outside of [Matt] Cassel and [Tyson] Jackson, there's no Chief who can't be had for the right price. New regimes like their own players; this is not something new to Haley and Scott Pioli. This is a universal truth." Source: RealGM.com
Of course it would depend on what we got for him. I've said in the past I personally would be happy if we traded him straight up for Ngata.
Here we go again. Whether or not Bowe would be traded if the right deal came to Pioli is not the point. That dipcraps like Schefter would even print something like this is just amazing. OK, so it's his opinion, we're all entitled. But he doesn't know for a fact that Bowe or any other player would be traded. Schefter, Ed Werder and every other journalist consumed with creating bullcrap need to give it a break. Adam, please stick with fact-based journalism so that your audience can read what's really happening instead of opinions that leap onto your monitor via your ego-driven brain.
eh, i'm surprised everyone is bashing schefter so much. the guy is right more than most guys out there.
This is not based on any fact or even any rumor. This is just Schefter giving his opinion based on how Pioli and Haley have acted in the past. I'm sure he'd get traded too if the deal was sweet enough. I don't think that deal exists for Bowe though.
eh, possibly ............... schefter has tons of sources around the league and just because he doesn't quote someone doesn't mean he didn't hear it somewhere ................. schefter rarely just guesses
