Michael Crabtree reportedly almost took the 49ers' offer following the team's Week 1 upset over the Cardinals. However, the unsigned first-round pick is believed to have strengthened his resolve since he nearly caved. ESPN's Colleen Dominguez adds that a number of San Francisco's players no longer care if Crabtree joins the team. Source: ProFootballTalk.com
He changed his phone number??? :lmao: OMG the DIVA is in...at this point really who freaking cares if he signs or not because he's more trouble than he's worth right now. The 49ers should just suck up the loss of a #1 pick and change their phone number...lol
if he doesn't sign by nov 17, then any contract he signs would be starting with next year's season and he cannot play this year. tick tick tick
They should just pull the offer and tell him that they hope he enjoyed losing millions. Just consider the pick as a bust except without having wasted the money on it.
Raji would have made that run defense sick. Too bad he went one pick before the niners, or crabtree might have been someone else's headache.
Who's the 9er fan that had 'Crabtree falls to 10' as his user title before the draft? The user name escapes me...
That was Fricker 4. I wasn't sure for a while who I had wanted drafted, although before Raji was taken by the Packers, I had been hoping we'd have gotten him. Not gonna lie though, after he was drafted, I was hoping Crabtree...never knew how stubborn he was prior to us ever drafting him though. Sheesh...
Unless he doesn't want to play for the 49ers and is willing to lose a load of money to do so, you do have to wonder wtf his advisers are telling him.
