Running back Chris Johnson said he has pleaded with Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger to consider the Wildcat. He has even offered lineup suggestions: Johnson and LenDale White in the backfield with Young, all ready for direct snaps and Young poised for any number of possibilities. "That's a beast," Johnson said, visualizing the potential. "If we use that, I know it would work. I know it would make some big plays." Nearly two-thirds of the teams in the league utilized a non-traditional quarterback to take at least one snap last season, but the Titans were not one of them. "If you have the personnel, try it," White said. "If you have a quarterback like Vince Young and running backs like me and C.J. and (receivers) Lavelle Hawkins, Nate Washington and those guys, those are athletes, so you have to put them in space and get them the ball."
