Patriots Workout Ex-Raiders DT Terdell Sands

    It gained little attention in NFL circles, but the New England Patriots worked out former Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Terdell Sands on Friday. According to a league source, Sands was the only defensive lineman to audition for New England. Sands was cut by the Raiders during their final major roster cutdown following a disappointing tenure in Oakland.
