Cowboys WR Roy Williams thought he was going to get a chance to replace Terrell Owens and be the team's go-to wideout and after Week One, in which he caught three pases for 86 yards, including a 66-yard TD, it appeared he just might get that chance. But following Williams' WeeK Two performance (one catch, 18 yards), he clearly isn't satisfied with his role to date. "Yeah, it's frustrating," Williams told the Star-Telegram. "Why is it not? I feel like I'm a playmaker. I feel like I can change the game. I just do what I'm supposed to do. I run my route and hopefully the ball will be there. If not, I move on to the next play then move on to the next one.'' Williams was careful not to throw QB Tony Romo under the bus in his comments, although the reportedly improved chemistry between the two now must be reinvestigated. Source: Pro Football Weekly
Who wouldent want TO back i wanted him back the year he left lol. He caused drama but put up numbers.
I didn't catch much of the game last Sunday. What was the problem with getting him the ball? Was it the coverage?
I think the Cowboys would be happy if he was a little T.O. Crap...I think they'd be happy if he had anything in common with T.O...
heck if he gets the ball he's not going to do anything with it. Roy, you're not a big time playmaker and quit dreaming.
maybe he should try to get open and actually catch the ones that are coming to him. This guys runs like he has a piano strapped to his back **********Automerged Doublepost********** Or maybe he doesnt get open because Wade Phillips was eating Krispy Kremes over Roy's playbook and the sonsnitch splattered raspberry filling on all of Roy's routes.
All of that ^^^^^^^^^^^^ " Whats up with Dallas receivers ". That's every damn receiver in the NFL. What else says you're a good WR but your numbers? So numbers mean everything to them. But just cause it's one of Dallas' WR's... he's a wanna-be T.O. or it's getting blown out of proportion. It is what it is, and that's something for every other fan who thinks their team is so perfect, it gives them something to talk about. This same damn article was posted two days ago, but now it has a new title saying " Roy Williams Wants The Ball More ".. And every single person who's posted, has what it looks like not read, cause it never said he wants the ball more. It just said what the headline said two days ago when it was posted on GIF, " Roy Williams Frustrated With Role In The Offense ". As anyone would be after a loss, and they didn't contribute.
^ This on top of everything else. If Roy wants the ball more, get open. Work on your release at the line, work on your route running, get open and when the ball is thrown to you, catch it. Jason Witten has eclipsed the receviers combined becausse he is clearly the best option for Romo. Do something about it Roy...
