The Detroit Lions have signed free agent receiver Adam Jennings and released Yamon Figurs. Jennings was with the Lions last year and throughtout training camp this season, Jennings is a decent returner, but he's very good all-around special teams player and excellent on coverage. His role as a potential kick returner is yet to be known, but Lions head coach Jim Schwartz made it clear on Monday that they were only going to wait so long for rookie Aaron Brown to improve his performance.
