On Sunday, Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin agreed to terms on a three-year, $26.5 million extension, locking up the 2008 sixth-round pick out of Iowa State through the 2014 season. Rubin was scheduled to earn $600,000 in base salary this season. That salary remains and, according to a league source, is now fully guaranteed, with his $5.5 million signing bonus, Rubin's first-year haul is $6.1 million. Next season, Rubin will earn $7.7 million in fully guaranteed base salary and a $300,000 workout bonus. In 2013, Rubin has a $200,000 workout bonus and will earn $6 million in base salary, $4.2 million of which is also fully guaranteed, the amounts that are fully guaranteed totals $18 million.
