According to Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal, the NFL is considering season lengths for 2011 as short as eight regular-season games, half its normal number, as the league plans for the possibility of an abbreviated season because of the nearly three-month-long lockout, sources said. An eight-game season could start in late November.

They will have to play 18 game seasons to make up for the 8 they could miss:icon_rolleyes:

  3. If that happens.....the playoff format should be under 1982 strike rules.....top 6 records in each conference....regardless of divisions.

Wow. Lol. How lame would that be? They need to make sure all 16 games are in.
