We're on to week 12. Three thanksgiving games tomorrow, 6 NFC teams. That's weird, isn't it? I feel like teasing the Lions, Cowboys and 49ers, as all three are super favorites. Cowboys are 11-pt favorites which is too high IMO. You can't have that line against a division rival...except the Giants, of course. I'll feel more comfortable when I lower it to 5. There's also the first black friday game: Jets vs. Dolphins which probably sounded more interesting back in august. Miami should cruise easily. As for sunday, I think the best game is Jaguars vs. Texans. The AFC South could be decided there. Happy thanksgiving, everyone!!!
Very strange that it is all NFC teams tomorrow. I didn't even realize it. I'll be rooting against the Lions, Cowboys, and 49ers on Thanksgiving. I expect all 3 to win though. On Black Friday the Dolphins should roll over the Jets. I definitely won't plan my day around the game but will put it on if I'm home most likely. Sunday's games: Early game I'll be watching Jags-Texans. I haven't really watched Stroud play much this year. I will be pulling for the Jags though just because I still have love for Dougie P. For the Eagles game, I'm really worried about this one. A short week after a big Monday night win in KC with the 49ers on the horizon for next week, it feels like a trap game.
Love the favorites today (and tomorrow), boys. Tease 'em down if ya' can. I predict some unwatchable football today. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Hug those families tight. Week 12 College and NFL Pick ‘Em: SportsChump vs The Wife Hates Sports vs Heavy D - Sports Chump
The Lions layed an egg and murdered everybody's teasers and parlays. The weekend is ruined and it has not even started XD.
You got that right. I was WAY off. I'm putting myself in gambling time out... until the next game starts.
I don’t even know what to say anymore about how the Eagles win. They always leave the other team thinking they were better. Luck and heart are a helluva combo. Updated Gauntlet Results 1. vs Cowboys W (1-0) 2. at Chiefs W (2-0) 3. vs Bills W (3-0) 4. vs 49ers 5. at Cowboys 6. at Seahawks
I read that the Eagles are one of the worst 10-1 teams by DVOA in history. Whatever that means. It's been 20 years and I still don't really get it...like WAR and WRC in baseball. Am I out of touch? At this point you are what you are and the Cowboys are the team that beats up bad teams and can't beat good teams. Good (or bad) news is we're facing good teams now: Next 5 are against Seahawks, Eagles, Bills, Dolphins and Lions. If we go 3-2 during that stretch, I'll be happy. If we go 0-5 I won't bat an eye. We're still making the playoffs to lose in Santa Clara in the first round.
In a surprising turn of events, the Panthers just fired Frank Reich. Did he make the decision to draft Young over Stroud? No? Interesting...
I wouldn't mind Reich coming back to Philly for the rest of the year in some kind of consultant role. I definitely wouldn't mind him back next year as OC again fulltime. I can dream.
And I hope he gets another chance in a few years...this wasn't fair by Tepper or the Panthers. I would've fired the GM first.
Dak Prescott is having a baby girl and Cowboys twitter seems to have an issue on him not being married. I hate it here.
