I'm surprised the Cowboys don't get back-to-back thursday games after thanksgiving like the last couple of years. Instead, we get a monday night game against the Bengals who are having a weird season...Burrow is having an MVP kind of year but they have a losing record. That tells me their defense is bad but I'm not sure we can take advantage of it. Tonight we have Packers vs. Lions in a showdown of the red-hot NFC North. Should be a good one.
Great matchup tonight. I really hope the Packers win for the Eagles sake. The Lions injuries have to catch up to them sometime, right?
Really sucks that GB couldn't pull that off last night. Campbell came so close to coaching himself out of a victory with that 4th down decision. Gonna be tough for the Eagles to get the #1 seed now. Panthers at Eagles - Carolina has been playing very well lately. Props to them for not quitting on the season. The Eagles have a superior team, but it may be a trap game. Eagles have the big Ravens win in their taillights and an upcoming game against the Steelers. I think it will be fairly close but the Eagles come out on top. Bills at Rams - Best matchup of the afternoon games. I'd like to see the Rams win as the Bills are starting to look too good. Bears at 49ers - I will continue to root against the 49ers until they are officially eliminated from the playoffs, with the possible exception of when they play the Lions.
Couldn't get out of it anymore. I'm working the sunday shift this weekend so I guess I'll have redzone in the background... The extra money will be nice but I'm at a point in my life when I value free time more...

The Eagles barely escaped with the win. I was so disappointed in the Eagles effort and the play of Hurts. As well as he has played this season, Cooper DeJean was taken to school a few times by Adam Thielen. Hopefully he learns from it. The numbers won't show it, but Chuba Hubbard had a hell of a game. That dude ran tough yesterday. Eagles survived though. 9 wins in a row. Big one against the Steelers next week. What a fun game the Rams-Bills was. 44-42...wow. Maybe it's about time the Vikings get a little recognition? They are 11-2 and it seems like nobody takes them seriously. They were dominant yesterday against Atlanta. Chiefs barely win again, but that is not unusal.
I think the Panthers are better than people give them credit for. They play hard and Bryce Young looks completely different after being put back in the starting role. So all in all I'd consider it a good win for your Eagles, Dawk. Yeah, Sam Darnold might be legit after all. Not even Aaron Rodgers can look good playing for the Jets so yeah, young QBs should pull an Eli Manning if they're drafted by them. Too many busts in the past decade and a half. I don't know who long the Chiefs' black magic can last. But it sure has been fun so far.
I heard the Bills became the first team in NFL history to have six touchdowns, zero turnovers, and lose the game.
So apparently Hurts & AJ Brown's friendship is over and there may be issues between them effecting play on the field. Only in Philly can you have a 9 game winning streak and unforced chaos comes to the surface. Ugh.
The thing about the Cowboys and brutal losses, like last night's, is that the more they happen, the less mad or sad I get. Last night as I saw it unfold I didn't even blink and thought to myself "well, that's unfortunate". It all comes to coaching. Bad coaching. The kid that tried to catch the ball will get cut today, and it kind of makes me mad but I get it. If you're a practice squad scrub you can't screw up like that. But it's not entirely your fault...remember that. I mean, I knew the Bengals defense was bad but holy f*ck...Cooper Rush looked like Troy Aikman at times out there. The Bengals have a lot of work to do if they don't want to waste Joe Burrow's prime...
Not sure where to put this as it appears there's only three of us on this forum but just finished and reviewed Tom Moore's latest book, A Players' Coach. Some good old school NFL stories for sure.
