Can't believe we're in the final stretch already. Some friends are even talking about fantasy playoffs and whatnot. Ahh those were the days... Tonight we get Rams vs. 49ers and I want the Rams to win so bad...Their win against the Bills was epic and let's hope they can continue the momentum. Cowboys play the Panthers and they're 2.5 UNDERDOGS. Yeah, you read that right. The Panthers are not that bad and are getting better. Since the Cowboys season is all but over I don't have much expectations but maybe I'll put 2 bucks in the moneyline just for the heck of it...
12-6 Rams win over the 49ers. No TDs. Looks like I missed a real barnburner. Glad to see the collapse of SF. Early games I'll be watching on Sunday: Dolphins at Texans - My buddy who is a Dolphins fan will be over so this will be the main game we'll watch. I hope the Dolphins can win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Commanders at Saints - I'll have this on my other tv as Washington is 2.5 games behind the Eagles but since we have a tough game things can be close going into next week. Eagles have the Commanders next Sunday. Steelers at Eagles - The Battle Of Pennsylvania. With a week of hoopla surrounding Hurts/AJ Brown controversy about the passing ineffeciences, this will be a great test against a good Pittsburgh defense. I hope they don't instantly just try to appease AJ and constantly thrown. Even though the Steelers run defense is stellar, I want Saquon and the offensive line to show they can run on anyone. Seems like Pickens may not play for the Steelers. That will be a little disappointing as I want to see what our CBs could do against him. Should be a really physical game. Can't wait!
We're up and running, boys. I'm not giving my Bucs a chance in hell this week. Here's hoping I'm wrong. 2024 Week Fifteen College and NFL Pick ‘Em: Bobby Kady’s Mexican Vacation - Sports Chump
What a great game by Jalen Hurts. The Eagles have swept the AFC North and now won 10 games in a row. It's the longest winning streak in team history. I love how we controlled the 2nd half. The Steelers only had 2 drives the entire 2nd half! The Eagles game ending drive was 10:29 long. Amazing. The Steelers had some key injuries going into the game, but that was a dominant and impressive performance by the Eagles. Much more so than the 14 point win. What a defensive battle between the Bills and Lions. The Lions injuries keep mounting. Such a shame for them. Mahomes got injured and early reports are he will be questionable next week. I hope he's ok but I really would like to see what Andy Reid has done with Carson Wentz.
The Panthers were favored for the first time since like 2022 and proceeded to lose to the Cowboys corpse. Not much to say, really. This is the kind of game this team used to lose all the time. We're still alive, barely, and that makes all the difference. Lots of chatter this week about trading Micah in the offseason for a lot of picks...trying to re-make the Herschell Walker trade that jump started the 90's dinasty. Just stop. A trade like that will never happen again. The Cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the world for the upteenth year in a row, why do people think Jerry cares about winning super bowls? Because he says it? Come on...
I agree, Dawk. I didn't buy into the whole locker room drama dialogue. They look just fine right now, and the Lions are in trouble, just as we thought. We'll see if they can keep it up. Still some key games left to play. Last thing Detroit wants though is to have to go thru Philly.
