49ers add LB Jermaine Cunningham, Waive QB B.J. Daniels, FB Owen Marecic

    The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal with linebacker Jermaine Cunningham.

    Cunningham, 25, was a second-round selection of the Patriots in 2010.

    Cunningham wasn't anything special when the pats had him. He could possibly be decent, but no one should be counting on him to really contribute. Second round picks don't get let go for no reason.
