The Dashon Goldson rumor mill has focused primarily on whether or not the 49ers would franchise their star free safety. The Buffalo News is reporting that Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson has been making a sales pitch to Goldson, Dwayne Bowe and Greg Jennings. Johnson is a San Francisco native and he apparently had some time to chat with Goldson on Thursday: "I just asked him, 'Who would you want to go to?' Out of his lips, he was talking about Buffalo a lot," Johnson said. "I'm, like, 'Man!' "Hopefully, we give him an offer." Earlier today, the Bills placed their franchise tag on free safety Jairus Byrd. The Bills new defensive coordinator, Mike Pettine, reportedly did not designate between free and strong safety while with the Jets which would allow the Bills to mix and match Goldson and Byrd. Stevie you dumb crap, you want the guys that get burned deep to be on the other side of the field in actual games, not in practice.
