Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is battling a previously undisclosed foot injury, according to Wednesday’s practice report but participated fully in practice. Kaepernick hasn’t been on any previous injury lists but he got hit five times and sacked three times in Sunday’s 29-3 loss at Seattle. Tight end Vernon Davis (hamstring) did not practice, but tweeted Tuesday night that he expects to play Sunday, thus extending his streak to 94 consecutive games played. Justin Smith (shoulder) also was held out of practice, as was fellow defensive tackle Ray McDonald (ankles) and running back LaMichael James (knee). Limited were Eric Reid (concussion), Aldon Smith (back), NaVorro Bowman (wrist) while Mike Iupati (shoulder) was full go. Source: Mercury News
