Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee reported Saturday that Austin Collie was informed of his release. The former Indianapolis Colts slot receiver couldn't make the 49ers' roster on a crowded, if flawed, depth chart. In other Niners roster moves, Kassim Osgood announced his release on his Twitter account. Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio also reported that Chad Hall was cut.
