The Seattle Seahawks have emerged as perhaps the greatest threat to the San Francisco 49ers' hopes of continued NFC supremacy in 2013.

Pete Carroll's team made several moves in the offseason to fortify an already strong roster, highlighted by the acquisition of dynamic wide receiver Percy Harvin.

    Vernon Davis has taken notice.

"They're building a dynasty over there," the Niners tight end told NFL.com's Jeff Darlington on Tuesday at the NFL Rookie Symposium in Ohio. "These guys are coming to take us out. I respect them, but we want to win, too. We have to ... play each game like it's our last game."

They are putting together a nice solid and young team...but dynasty? That remains to be seen...lol.

Ughhhhhhh. It's so very frustrating that no one distinguishes between dynasty and a seemingly well built team that has never won a damn thing. Dynasties win, win some more, and win again, by definition.

well Vernon did say they are "building" a dynasty, alluding to the fact that they are not one yet.

Its a good strategy by Vernon... say nice things about them before he gouges them

Not only that, but IMO, a dynasty is pretty much the same solid core of players as well. It's very hard to put a team together for a long haul and win over time with free agency and the way the league is now.
