The 49ers and Cardinals wrap up the 2013 regular season on Sunday. The opening line has the 49ers as a slight favorite. We break down what it means.

The San Francisco 49ers head down to Arizona on Sunday for their regular season finale, and they are opening as slight favorites against the Cardinals. The line opened at some sites as a pick 'em, but the 49ers are now sitting as 1 1/2 point favorites.

The 49ers beat the Cardinals 32-20 in Week 6, thanks primarily to Vernon Davis. The 49ers tight end had his best game of the season, catching eight passes for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The 49ers had 252 receiving yards total, with Anquan Boldin coming in behind Davis with three passes for 28 yards. Thankfully for the offense, Frank Gore had a solid day, rushing for 101 yards. It is one of his three 100+ rushing performances this season.

The 49ers and Cardinals enter the game playing as well as anybody. The 49ers lead the league with a five-game win streak, while the Cardinals have won seven of their last eight, including a huge win over the Seahawks last week. I have a hunch this ends up as one of the best games of the weekend.

The 49ers can very well win this, but I don't think it will be a walk in the park. It really wasn't a walk in the park when they met in San Francisco, and I don't imagine it will be any easier in Arizona.
