The San Francisco 49ers worked out former Minnesota Vikings defensive end D'Aundre Reed, according to a league source. Reed is a 2011 Vikings seventh-round draft pick from Arizona. Reed played in six games last season for the Vikings. The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.89 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 30 times with a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap at the NFL scouting combine in 2011. Reed was cut during the Vikings' final major roster cutdown prior to the regular season. Source:National Football Post
