Ted Ginn may not have been a great receiver for the Dolphins, but he was a great person. Ginn was classy in victory and defeat, in good times and bad. He just spoke on a conference call and rather than taking any shots at the Dolphins or the fans that gave him a tough time, he stayed classy. "I think I can still be an elite receiver," he said. "I don't think that I sell off at all. I just believe that special teams is one of the assets I have in my game. I'm just going to come in and do both." Source: Miami Herald
Well he does know that some niner fans love drinking kool-aid (i.e. the Alex Smith situation). I just wish those two (Ginn and Alex) would try to become elite players at the expense of some other FO's investment of time and money.
Yeah, I'm a smart butt. Just saying he hasn't come close to living up to that potential. But you already knew that too. He's worth a shot for a 5th round pick. No Santonio Holmes though.
I wish that Ginn would've lived up to his potential. He came in with VERY high expectations after the Fins did not draft Brady Quinn in that #9 pick that year. So, for his sake, I hope he has a good rest of his career. But, it wasn't meant to be here in South Florida for Ginn.
