Personally I think that McCoy has always enjoyed a offensive coach, whereas Matt Forte was stranded behind a very strong defense. We saw the real Forte last season, where he finished 2nd to McCoy. (however the Eagles did have one of the highest powered octane offenses last year) so I voted Forte

    Translation

    I don't like the Eagles :)

WTF??? Andy Reid used to refuse to feed him the rock.

About 17 carries a game under Reid. 20 carries a game under Kelly. 5 catches a game under Reid. 3 catches a game under Kelly.

So, what you are saying is that he got more touches with Kelly at the helm.

16.3 carries under Reid (as low as 13.8), 19.6 under Kelly. 53 more carries for a season. That's a huge difference.

    What about receptions?

Reid knows when he had the third best back in the league...he doesn't want to run the wheels off...Kelly hasn't realized yet?

    Receptions were about the same.

5 to 3 isnt about the same. Thats 36 more receptions a year, youve got to figure with a guy like McCoy thagd go for at least 300 more yards and a couple TDs.

    Nah...

    2010 - 78-592-2
    2011-48-315-3
    2012-54-373-3

    2013-52-539-2

Take away the aberration of 2010, his reception numbers stayed about the same, and his average per reception went way up.

  16. Walnuts

    Walnuts All-Pro

2011 is actually the aberration year, in 2012 he was pretty much on the same per-game pace as in 2010...but only played in 12 games.

  17. DawkinsINT

False. Look at yards receiving per game. 2013 was his second highest.

Anyone who thought he was being better utilized under Reid is just out there.

What? False what? He didn't play in 12 games? Those arent his numbers? 32 extra catches a year isn't significant? Not following you here, we were talking receptions and suddenly its receiving yards...which somehow falsifies the reception numbers? Am I missing something? All I ever said was 2 less receptions a game isn't insignificant for someone of McCoys talent. I dont think thats an misguided assumption.

Look at the numbers I had posted previous to your post. I included yards and touchdowns, not just number of receptions, so you had to look at those as well. My initial point was not about just the number of receptions, it was in regards to receiving overall last year was about the same as under Reid.
