OXNARD, Calif. -- While too many NFL wide receivers continue to burn legacies and commit felonies, the artist formerly known as Terrible Owens has suddenly gone radio silent. As Steve Smith punches heads, Terrell Owens punches a clock. When Chad Johnson ran his mouth, Owens ran sprints. Brandon Marshall is suspended and everyone waits in suspense for the next Owens outburst. Mike Freeman, CBS
Like the article says, this was supposed to be "Camp Chaos", with T.O., the new tabloid celebrity Tony Romo, The Cornerback formerly known as Pacman, and Tank Johnson on the same field, but somehow, it's all been peaceful and quiet at Cowboys' Camp. And I couldn't be happier :icon_cool:
Thats how he should be about time he keeps his mouth shut. Maybe hes gotten soft after crying about his boyfreind when the boyz lost.
TO has always being big mouthed and not afraid to voice his opinion, but as a football player he has always being committed and a hard worker which is why he has being one of the best and continues to be.
Favre stole him the show so far, but there is still plenty of time till the season starts... :icon_cheesygrin:
We will see how soft his bones are week 2. Hopefully TO doesent cry like a baby when we beat him again like usual.
well, if that happens.. then it happens. Mcnabb's bones don't go weak until week 6 though, so.. game 2 will be ours. :icon_cool:. Only difference is, your season will be over by then, and ours will still be going smooth.
That was one season get over it. He got a sprained ankle last year could have played but dident and only missed 2 games. He looked great the last 2 games and last time i checked we beat you. I laugh at you cowboy fans you have one good season and your ego goes sky high even if you havent won a playoff game in over 10 years. Mcnabb is finally healthy this year and is looking really sharp.
okay, and I laugh at you, the Eagles fan.. All you can bring up is Dallas not winning a playoff game in 15 years.. When making it to the playoffs, that's the only games.. your franchise has ever won. 0 Superbowl wins > 5 Superbowl Wins? Maybe in your opinion. And i'd like to think, that 7-6 Playoff Record since Dallas' last win, and all together.. it means nothing. I'd rather my team bust out and finish last, then to make it to the superbowl and lose, Just so we can get a better player in the draft. Reguardless, it leads me back to the point of.. 0 Playoffs wins in 15 years > 0 Superbowl wins in 45 years. And For the McNabb only being hurt one season... I didn't know that, I must've been watching Re-Runs up until this past season.. silly me. &&&& one good season for Dallas, when we've had 3 winning seasons in a row... guess thats with the re-runs though... I gotta keep up on the stuff happening now I guess. a08:
Is this an NFC Discussion or NFL Smack thread? Back on topic.... There is no doubting that TO is a terrific player and he's been well behaved for the most part with Dallas. He's like a ticking timebomb though. He can go off at any second. I really think he's mentally unstable. I hope he's been getting help and that's why he's been so quiet. As much as I disliked him for what he did in Philly, I think he's a good person overall.
Any of you cowgirl fan's have any evidence mcnabb has "soft bones". Ligaments and tendons SURE but his bones are pretty darn good. Before you ask yes, we have ample evidence Romo sucks and TO is a big volcano of crazy waiting to erupt. (Unless he did actually get help after the botched suicide attempt)
So will this be a positive or a negative effect on his play? Or no effect at all? Seems like TO thrives off the attention some times. Guess we'll have to wait and see on this one but I'll give him props for staying out of the headlines.
Yea you have 5 superbowls i bet thats when you became a fan wasent it? Yea my team doesent have any superbowls but atleast i stick around when we arent doing well. Dallas fans disappear when the cowboys arent doing well just like Roy said.
Terrell Owens is a great player. And a Great Person, I'm glad to be able to call him a Dallas Cowboy. And for as Long as I've known what football was, I've been a Cowboys fan. I Liked Terrell when he was a niner, when he was a eagle [respect his on the field play, and what he did to make it back in time for the superbowl]. He's been nothing but great since coming to Dallas, and I don't see it unfolding into anything other then that.
I was there during the Dark Era (Dave Campo)...so don't you dare to lecture me about running away when things go wrong. :icon_frown:
Yea you have TO but that doesent guarantee you will be in the superbowl. Yea you have a chance at the superbowl but what i hate is dallas fans think its going to be easy. The NFC east is by far the toughest division in the league. The giants are superbowl champs and will be tough this season. They have nice depth at RB and there is always plaxico. There defense lost strahan but tuck is good to so there defense should still be very good. Then theres the eagles which have a Qb that when healthy plays at a high level. We also have westbrook which might be the best combo of RB/WR in the league. The defense will also be solid with the addition of samuel and clemons. Dawkins and lito werent healthy last year and missed alot of time so that will make a huge diffrence. Then you have the skins that just added jason taylor to there team who should help the defense alot. They have a pretty good offense to with portis and cambell getting better. Im just saying that cowboys fans act like they have this division won already when this divison is clearly going to be hard to win for any team. Im not directly talking about you but the majority of dallas fans.
