Aaron Hernandez jerseys probably weren't selling too well in the past couple of weeks, but now they won't be selling at all, at least not at the NFL's online store. NFLShop.com is no longer offering Hernandez's No. 81 jersey. "We decided it was the appropriate step to take," an NFL spokesman said in a statement to USA Today. Over the course of six hours on Wednesday, Hernandez was arrested, released by the Patriots and charged with murder. Hernandez jerseys were available on NFLShop.com until at least 3:15 p.m. ET -- just after the charges were announced -- but they're not there now and if you try to buy one, you'll be offered a Tom Brady jersey instead. Not everyone waited until 3:15 p.m. ET to stop selling Hernandez jerseys, the Patriots Pro Shop had stopped selling Hernandez jerseys by 11:15 a.m. ET. According to USA Today, several other sites have discontinued the sale of Hernandez jerseys, including Nike.com and FansEdge.com, Hernandez jerseys are also no longer available on the website for twinky's Sporting Goods.
