"Whatever makeover the Yankees undergo in their playoff-less offseason, Bobby Abreu hopes he's not a part of it. The outfielder said he hopes he's back in pinstripes next year playing at the new Yankee Stadium, but admits he has no idea what the Bombers plan to do.

Yankees probably gonna wanna get rid of alot of older players this offseason. Abreu led the team in AB's and put up pretty good numbers. 20 HR's 100 RBI's and batted .296 they got pretty good production out of him.

Abreu his good speed and works the count well, this is a good leadoff hitter, or at least a #2 hitter. I see the yanks losing giambi and possibly damon to make room for melky(who IMO is waaaaaaaay over hyped).

Its worth losing Damon and Giambi for that matter, they can dump their big contracts and reload by overpaying on some younger Free Agents.
