While thinking about the huge match-ups on Sunday and Monday nights this week, which will likely determine the 2 strongest divisions in the AFC, it struck me that these games could actually secure the #1 and #2 seeds in the playoffs since the AFCS and AFCW are weaker this season. Since we are nearing January, do you feel the enormity of these games could determine each team's fates for the rest of the season?
Meh, how about the AFCE. Ravens and Steelers will have something to say about this come playoff time.
check your schedule to look at the SNF and MNF match-ups....... jets vs. pats -- AFCE ravens vs. steelers -- AFCN
I know. I'm saying that I think it's too early to promote AFCCG for these 2 teams when you still have good teams like the Steelers and Ravens out there, but the winner probably wins the division.
i'm not sure you're understanding the topic but maybe you are saying that the result of the 2 games coming up on sunday night and monday night will have very little or no effect on what is going to actually happen in late January........... if that's what you're saying, then your vote is not likely/longshot in the poll.
You're right Capt, I read it wrong. I'm a donkey. I thought this was just about the Pats and Jets for some reason. My bad. I'll go 50/50.
This weekend is going to be huge for homefield advantage and that is going to be huge for getting to Dallas - so while I won't be marking it on my calendar next Tuesday I think that whoever wins this weekend drastically improves their odds in the tourney.
