Agent Says Free Agent QB Jake Delhomme Won't Visit The Packers

A report working its way around the internet said that free agent quarterback Jake Delhomme, a former pupil and long-time admirer of Packers coach Mike McCarthy, was expected to visit Green Bay. Delhomme's agent, Rick Smith, denied the report. He would not elaborate, indicating that he usually doesn't comment on free agency developments, but he said Delhomme was not scheduled to meet with the Packers.
