The New Orleans Saints have signed defensive lineman Kendrick Clancy to a one-year deal, according to his agent, Ron Del Duca. The veteran nose guard also drew interest from the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Clancy had offseason surgery on his knee. Clancy, 31, played for the Saints for the past three seasons. The 6-foot-1, 305-pound former Pittsburgh Steelers third-round draft pick has recorded 139 tackles, three forced fumbles and 5 1/2 sacks but he was limited to two games last season because of the knee injury.
