Veteran Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams wants to play next season and does not plan to retire, his agent said today. "Trust me, I know what Pat Williams is doing. Pat Williams is playing," said his California-based agent, Angelo Wright. Williams, a three-time Pro Bowler, told reporters after Minnesota's 31-28 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints in last month's NFC championship game odds were "50-50" he would retire. Wright said his client's comments reflected his mood after a heartbreaking defeat more than his true intentions. "I talked to Pat Williams three or four times in the last week. He'll be playing next season," Wright said. Source: Pioneer Press
