Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe was carried off the field in an ambulance after taking a blow to his neck during Saturday night's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, but all tests were negative.

Undercut on a low block by Seahawks tight end Luke Willson, Wolfe then took a shot to the neck from Seattle fullback Michael Robinson in the first quarter of the Broncos' 40-10 loss. Wolfe was down for several minutes before being strapped to a backboard and driven off in an ambulance.

Wolfe was moving his right leg and arm before medical personnel arrived on the scene, and the Broncos tweeted good news about the defensive end's status after the game.

In previous years, we've seen players such as Ben Roethlisberger and Darrius Heyward-Bey return just weeks after being taken off the field via stretcher with neck injuries.
