Made a few adjustments where I've seen fit. Unlike other years, this year has been the hardest to decide the top 10, as things seemingly changed up there every couple of days. I was really tempted to put one of the QB's at number one but I'm still retaining onto the logic that a defensive minded coach will get his way and transform the defence before putting another young QB to sacrifice to opposing defences. In essence, talent over positional need, because lets be honest, had Luck been in this draft, both Newton and Gabbert would be mid 1st round picks at best. 1. Panthers - DT Marcell Dareus 2. Broncos - CB Patrick Peterson 3. Bills - QB Blaine Gabbert 4. Bengals - QB Cameron Newton 5. Cardinals - LB Von Miller 6. Browns - DE Da'Quan Bowers 7. 49ers - OLB Robert Quinn 8. Titans - DT Nick Fairley 9. Cowboys - CB Prince Amukamara 10. Redskins - WR AJ Green 11. Texans - OLB JJ Watt 12. Vikings - OT Tyron Smith 13. Lions - OT Anthony Castonzo 14. Rams - WR Julio Jones 15. Dolphins - RB Mark Ingram 16. Jaguars - DE Aldon Smith 17. Patriots - OLB Ryan Kerrigan 18. Chargers - OLB Cameron Jordan 19. Giants - OT Gabe Carimi 20. Bucs - DE Adrian Clayborn 21. Chiefs - NT Phil Taylor 22. Colts - OT Nate Solder 23. Eagles - CB Jimmy Smith 24. Saints - DE Cameron Heyward 25. Seahawks - QB Jake Locker 26. Ravens - CB Aaron Williams 27. Falcons - WR Randall Cobb 28. Patriots - G Mike Pouncey 29. Bears - CB Brandon Harris 30. Jets - DE Muhammed Wilkerson 31. Steelers - G Danny Watkins 32. Packers - OLB Justin Houston Rate/Hate peeps :)
Can't see the Steelers going G in the first round unless it's Pouncey. I think if Sherrod is on the board, they are going to jump at him...I could also see them take Dowling there...if the other DB's are gone, but I think Sherrod's their man if it falls like this mock.
It really came down to a toss up between the two to be honest. Either way, both would go a long way to sorting out a mess of a line. I think DB can wait when the blue eyed boy is having to scramble for his life frequently.
The Steelers have won a Super Bowl and been to 2 with a "mess of a line." If they had a solid back end on D, they may have won a second... Either way, they can't go wrong drafting for either area. I think they'll take the best available at that point...
