I just finished season 4. Pretty darn good show. I know it's very popular in the states but no one really talks about it here?
Hell yea it's my favorite show ever. I'm still like obsessed with it. @Walnuts loves it too. We talked about it alot when it was on. There's a thread about it somewhere. I wouldn't read it if I were you though. Lots of spoilers.
Hey Steve, I was pretty sure there was a thread out there but I didn't want to search in case of spoilers. I need at least 4 more days to catch up. :)
What do I start watching once this is over? House of Cards? Walking Dead? Not really into zombies... Damages? Any suggestions. The type of shows I love. Homeland, 24 (all of them) , Breaking Bad, any good recommendations?
@LebaneseFF - Do you own the DVD's or watching it via Netflix or some other media? I'd seen one mid-season episode in the first year and never watched it again. When I saw how @Steve12 was so jacked about it I bought the entire DVD set on Amazon. Next to my 1976 Triumph Spitfire it was one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Dawk isn't wrong. I sometimes think IMDb is kinda like Bleacher Report of the entertainment business when it comes to opinions about a movie or television series. But in this case 120,000+ people ain't wrong. It's outstanding.
Mark I live in Lebanon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My torrents are working :). No seriously I download everything from the PirateBay Everything, I have over 5000 movies and around 20-30 different types of series. Anyone watch Suits???
Just a small little fact that I didn't take into consideration.:suicide: You've just got to get that visa or green card!!
Breaking Bad was not only one of the best shows of all time, but the last episode was done absolutely perfect. Usually with so much hype regarding a series finale, the show never lives up to the hype. This one did and then some. I actually still watch it every once and awhile because it was THAT good.
Loved Breaking Bad and The Wire. My favorite two series of all time. I didn't like Walking Dead season 2, but I just watched season 3 over the last few days, and it made me a fan again.
For your amusement here's a link to the "101 Best Written TV Series Of All Time": http://www.deadline.com/2013/06/wgas-101-best-written-tv-series-of-all-time-complete-list/ Breaking Bad is there of course, but do all of you agree with its ranking? I don't. This is also a good list for you @LebaneseFF to check out series you may want to investigate on PB.
I literally can't speak highly enough of breaking bad. And I tried the wire, but I couldn't make myself keep watching after 5 episodes.
Breaking bad was awes one. House of cards. Also great. Mad men great show Sopranos is up there with breaking bad. I just couldn't get into the wire, watched 6 episodes
Tsk tsk thats too bad, sucks to be you guys! I'd also like to re-endorse True Detective. Its flat out incredible thus far.
alright you guys convinced me on these shows A) House of Cards B) Orange is the new Black C) The Wire (although I must admit I started watching the wire years ago and was not all that impressed) I also started downloading all of those. I also started downloading Intelligence, not sure what to expect but I will let you all know. True Detective has received amazing reviews and I might start watching that too.
