Pittsburgh Steelers President Art Rooney II will address the media regarding the Ben Roethlisberger situation at 2:30 p.m. today at Steelers headquarters at the UPMC Sports Performance Complex. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggests that Rooney will announce that the Steelers will suspend Roethlisberger for two games for conduct detrimental to the team and likely will issue strong criticism towards Roethlisberger. Then, probably tomorrow, commissioner Roger Goodell will announce that the league won't add any additional penalties to the team-imposed suspension, via a letter that also criticizes Roethlisberger. That's what I thought they should do. 2 games from the Steelers with the league backing the decision. Probably waiting until after the draft to see if someone shows up with a monster deal...
Maybe that's the way... He shoud pay for his actions... I'm with 86Ward, they are waiting to the draft to see what they can get...
He should pay for being an idiot for putting his dumbass in the positions that he does...but I don't think they should be so fast to trade him...he's obviously a bonehead, but a talented QB.
Maybe he is the best QB for PIT, but it's seems that he don't have his head on football. Which QB will you pick on the draft for a team like Steelers?
