Arthur Blank Says Falcons WR Roddy White Has Matured

  1. Falcons WR Roddy White is amongst the league leaders in receptions (37) and he has yet to drop a single pass this season while being targeted frequently by QB Matt Ryan. While his first two seasons were disappointing, White has been producing at an elite level since 2007 and defenses are still struggling to execute in their attempts to shut him down. "I think (White has) matured," Falcons owner Arthur Blank recently told PFW. "I think when Roddy came out of school, Roddy would tell you he probably wasn't quite as mature as he thought he was then. I think he's taking his business really seriously. He's working harder, studying more. Paying more attention to what he's doing when he's not at the facility. Preparing himself hard for games. He's gotten a lot of good coaching over the years. "I think it's been a combination of things and his own maturity that has brought him to the level he's at today."
