Just got through watching this game. Dude was lights out all game. Seemed like every Rays hitter started with an 0-2 count.

Arod actually said good for him today, lol

Great story about him and this happening on Mothers' Day. His mom died in 2001 from cancer and he lived with his grandma, they had a great embrace after the game. Good for him.
shades of bunning on Fathers' Day.

I loved how korn and wilbon were dissing Braden a couple days before saying he's a nobody and who's Dallas Braden. If they'd watch baseball on a regular basis they would have known that he's promising young pitcher he had a nice 09 season and a good start to this season prior to throwing the perfect game. Very impressive performance by him. And the Rays getting two perfect games against them in consecutive seasons is unheard of. I doubt that's ever happened to any other franchise in the history of baseball.

Mat Latos was one infield grounder that hit off of him away from a perfect game. He also drove in the only run scored. Must be something about the Bay area, Latos was pitching against the Giants.
