Just got a text alert on my dads cell phone.
Damn, that is sad. My thoughts are with Chip and the rest of his family. It was just 10 years ago when his legendary grandfather, Harry Caray, passed away. Now, 10 years later, his dad goes peacefully.
So young. It's sad to see another member of one of the greatest broadcasting families in baseball passing away. RIP.
From his start at KMOX-Radio, St Louis doing a 15 minute high school sports show to a voice and face that will always be remembered. RIP.
Wow, Chip is the only Caray left broadcasting baseball now.
Sad day for Braves fans and baseball fans in general. He may have been a homer but he had a dry, dry sense of humor. RIP Skip.:icon_cry:
When I go I want it to be while sleeping. Best wishes to his family.
Man this gives me goosebumps about not being able to hear his voice in a braves broadcast anymore. Thanks for everything Skip, R.I.P. You were amazing!
May God rest his soul
rip damn that voice will be missed
I really enjoyed listening to him doing Braves games on TBS.
What a shame. :icon_sad:
