Balance of Power: Eagles' Ground Game Fueling Wins balance baby, along with great line play & the ability to spread the ball to several targets in the passing game makes the eagles very, very dangerous offensively.
Vs the 49ers the defense was good at getting turnovers but the run defense dident do so well but frank gore always get a 100+ on us.
a couple of games are really tipping the defensive stats. we are #10 right now but if the defense showed up against the saints and giants they are top 5.
Frank gore was also the first player to get a 100 yards rushing on us this season. Thats pretty damn good to hold them for 13 games.
I wonder how much of a factor Westbrook is going to be. I'm hoping with his fresh legs the explosiveness is back.

on the subject some more - the balanced attack between the run and pass is paying off. especially in the redzone.
I want Westbrook getting just a few carries these next couple of weeks, but I want him to be our featured back in the run game during the playoffs. Shady is good, but he's no Westbrook.

yep, work him into it. by the playoffs we have three very good backs to run the ball and go out on pass patterns.
