Many of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch's debts were dismissed by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Jeffrey A. Deller this week, Rich Lord of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Batch had listed $2.3 million in assets and $8.29 million in debts in his Chapter 7 filing last year, with many of his debts stemming from business ventures. Among Batch's listed assets were his two Super Bowl rings. The 36-year-old Batch appeared in three games for the Steelers last season, including making two starts while Ben Roethlisberger served his four-game suspension at the start of the season. Batch completed 29-of-49 pass attempts for 352 yards with three touchdowns and interceptions, spending much of the season as the team's "third" quarterback on game day. Source: Mac's Football Blog
