When the Cleveland Browns rookies reported on Friday, top pick Barkevious Mingo was not among them.

Mingo, the sixth overall pick in the draft, still has not signed his rookie contract as the two sides are battling over offset language that the Browns want to include in the contract.

A league source told NFP that the two sides are still in talks with the goal being to have Mingo's deal finished by Wednesday when the full Browns squad is to report to training camp.

Mingo isn't the only top pick who remains unsigned over the offset language clause that helps to protect the drafting club in case a player is released before his plays out the full length of the deal. Thus far, only three of the top 10 picks in this year's draft have agreed to their contracts.
