Veteran center Olin Kreutz remains sidelined during minicamp for the Chicago Bears this weekend, but he’s close to feeling better than he did the last few seasons playing on a bad ankle. Kreutz underwent surgery in late January on his Achilles tendon and he’s nearly all the way back. The projected rehabilitation time was four to six months, and now four months removed, there is no rush in getting him back on the field. He’s been doing some running on the side and has been lifting weights. He’s following the action with a play chart. “My foot was so bad for so long that it's already almost better than it was," Kreutz said.
