The last thing the Bears needed was another blow to a key player, but Devin Hester's absence from the sideline in the second half with a shoulder injury caused some concern. Hester suffered the injury when he got crunched by Lions cornerback William James and safety Louis Delmas in the second quarter yesterday and he did not return. "Obviously, (we're) concerned," offensive coordinator Ron Turner said. "It's bad enough for him to leave the game. And I don't know exactly what it is, but it sounds like he's going to be OK." The NFL Network reported Hester had a stiff neck and would be fine for the Bears' next game but Bears officials maintained it was a shoulder injury. Source: Chicago Tribune
