Bears DE/DT Israel Idonije Is Seeking An Extension

    Bears defensive lineman Israel Idonije is in a contract year agent Drew Rosenhaus reports that they have reached out to the Bears to extend his deal. Idonije registered a career high 3.5 sacks last year and 24 tackles while also playing in all 16 games and starting three.

    Oh god yeah, please extend Idonije's contract. He can play special teams, defensive end, and defensive tackle and does very very well in helping the Bears where he is needed to play.

    He's always played like that Dyer, he has played much better than his stats would indicate, not that his stats are bad or anything. Fantastic player, the Bears should get on this.

    Yeah I agree. He is an unsung hero especially when it comes to special teams.

    hopefully they don't let him walk. sometimes the bears let guys walk if they feel they're getting too expensive.
