While the market for free-agent FS Oshiomogho Atogwe continues to simmer, we’re still finding out more about the interest (and non-interest) of potential suitors. One team now out of the Atogwe market is the Bears. GM Jerry Angelo said during his bi-weekly Q&A Wednesday that the Bears have evaluated Atogwe, but are set at safety after adding Chris Harris and third-round pick Major Wright to a group that already included Danieal Manning, Craig Steltz and Josh Bullocks. Teams previously listed as pulling out of the running for Atogwe include the Cowboys, Vikings, 49ers and Eagles. Source: NFL.com
A comment made from an Bear accountant POV. Harris is a recent acquisition of a previous throwaway, Wright is a draft stretch, Manning's limitations are well dcumented, Steltz & Bullocks haven't shown that they're on the cusp with more seasoning. Rhetoric for the feeble minded sheep... :icon_rolleyes:
