Profootballtalk.com, citing a league source, reports that the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions are both interested in signing free agent cornerback Lito Sheppard. Sheppard, who was traded from the Eagles to the Jets last year, was cut last week. He started nine games last season and appeared in 11.

Of course they are interested in him. The bears and lions are interested in any player at any position at this point

He was benched cause we got Asante and cause he was snitching about wanting a new contract then we didn't cut him we traded him to the Jets for a 6th that could become a 5th if they made the playoffs which they did.

Funny thing about it was the guy has talent he is just half butt is it. I though a new scenery and a new contract would make him play better but he continue to half butt it
