Brian Urlacher shook the hand of former Chicago Bears teammate Danieal Manning after he made an interception Sunday night.

And he doesn’t give a damn what you think about it.

Urlacher responded to critics on Monday during an appearance on the “Waddle & Silvy Showâ€￾ on WMVP-AM 1000. Manning intercepted Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and forced a fumble in the Houston Texans’ 13-6 victory at Soldier Field.

After the pick, Urlacher congratulated him for a nice play.

“That was a nice play. I could give a crap about what people think on the street. Get mad at me all you want, I could give ... I could give a crap about what people say,â€￾ Urlacher said on the show Monday.

“Danieal Manning is a friend of mine, he was a teammate for five or six years, and that's the way it is. He made a catch and was running toward the sideline to say something to Coach, so I walked out there.

"The guy had a good game, he caused a fumble, had a pick. He's my friend. I wish he wouldn't have caught it, but he did, so nice play to you. I don't give a crap about what fans or people say, they can kiss my butt. I don't care."

Rookie player, I could see people having a problem with it, but its freaking Urlacher, one of the greatest competitors of his generation.

Took it as competing friends w/#54 almost saying with the look 'now it's our turn'.

Nothing but cannon fodder for misguided fans. There was other things they should have been upset about than that.
