The Bears lost to the Packers on Sunday as Jay Cutler threw four interceptions in his debut. However, the supremely confident quarterback doesn't think it's time for Chicago to begin panicking. "There were a lot of failures," Cutler said after the 21-15 loss. "We've got to go back and look at it. I think we're still going to be a good football team, there's no need to panic." Bears coach Lovie Smith blamed turnovers for the loss. "It's pretty simple what happened tonight," Smith said. "Any time that you have four turnovers, you're normally not going to win the football game, especially against a good Packers team." Source: Associated Press
Yeah, Cutler is right that it's too early to panic. However though, a 4 INT game at Soldier Field will draw the boo birds out in a heartbeat.
It seemed like 2 of those picks might've been his receivers fault for cutting their routes short, however the 3+(?) dropped INTs raise some eyebrows - Cutler realistically threw 7 or 8 interceptable balls in that game and I can't say that any more than 3 of those were miscommunications.
The last pick was his fault. Jolley's was just an amazing play for a big guy. His WR's looked like a game with goobers except Bennet. You can't ask him to throw that much without a real WR weapon. You get away from the run game with Forte, you deserve to lose.
I'm panicking.....I have Forte on my fantasy team and if the Bears play like that all year......ughhhhhhhhhhhh
He easily should have had 7 or 8 ints..we dropped like 4 of them..otherwise wed have had more. He mad a LOT of rlly bad throws..two of his ints were reciever faults. other than that..just plain bad throws. He threw into quadruple coverage even! Had 2 of our guys not collided, it would have been an int FOR SURE. Its gonna be a loooooooooooong season for cutler and the bears.
Jay will never panic because if the team gets to bad he will just whine and cry til he gets traded to another team. Why panic when you know acting like a crybaby will get you out of town
