According to chicagobreakingsports.com, Bears QB Jay Cutler will get playbook tips from Kurt Warner, a master of new Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz‘s scheme. Warner led “The Greatest Show on Turf†as a member of the St. Louis Rams, earning two league MVP titles, playing in two Super Bowls and winning one during his time with Martz. Cutler said he’s exchanged a few text messages with the newly-retired Warner and expects to speak to him further before the preseason begins. “I kind of want to be able digest a little bit more of the playbook, be more in sync with what we’re trying to do and what we’re being asked to do before I ask (Warner) a lot of questions,†Cutler said during the recent Fan Expo at Soldier Field. “Maybe through July, I’ll have a little more of a lengthy conversation with him.†Source: NFL.com
