The Chicago Bears signed offensive tackle Jonathan Scott to a one-year contract on Monday. Scott played in 12 games (seven starts) with the Bears last season. Originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2006 draft, Scott has started 35-of-70 games played with Detroit (2007-2008), Buffalo (2009), Pittsburgh (2010-2011) and Chicago. Chicago also waived tight end Kyle Adams, signed quarterback Jerrod Johnson to the practice squad and terminated the practice squad contract of guard Derek Dennis. Source: Sports Network
