The Chicago Bears agreed to a four-year deal with second-round linebacker Jon Bostic, Dam Pompei of the Chicago Tribune reports. The signing of Bostic leaves first-round pick Kyle Long as the only unsigned rookie on the team. Bears vice president of football administration Cliff Stein is known as one of the most efficient negotiators in the league, and he typically moves quickly to get deals done with rookies. Bostic is seen as the eventual heir to the Bears’ middle linebacker throne. The 50th overall selection in the draft, he also can play outside linebacker and is likely to be a sub at all three positions as a rookie, he started 32 games at Florida and over the last two years made 162 tackles.
