The Chicago Bears have signed fullback Eddie Williams to a one-year contract. Williams, a seventh-round draft pick last year by Washington, was released last week by the Redskins. Williams is an interesting addition for new offensive coordinator Mike Martz because he was a skilled pass-catching tight end at Idaho. Source: National Football Post
